MYTHOS

I dont know if you know anywhere in Redditch that sells Mythos but I have found a place at the 146 Terminous in Birmingham. Get off the bus and into the Kazo bar.. If we do have any decent weather over the next few weeks hop on the bus and have a few. Shut your eyes and help it down with a cheese pie if you like them.Hopefully you can get yourself into a trance and you will think you are there.

Only trouble is that only 330ml bottles..

I believe it used to be called Susannah but everyone calls it Susie, which is now the name in the Thomson brochure.
Confusing because Golden Sun go to the Suzannah which is somewhere else, can anyone confirm this;

Located opposite the Aliston, the Suzanna is a new property, situated in a peaceful area of Skala Potamia, approx. 10-15 minute walk from the centre of the resort where you will find a variety of shops and tavernas. The Suzanna has its own swimming pool. The sandy beach is 100m away.

dear planetearthisblue they certainly look different to me just look at the roofs on them,one is flat . Anyway thanks for the fotos,they're very good and thank you Steve for the Mythos,looks real tasty can't wait to try it Iwas always an Amstell man myself before but that looks to good to miss. Hi Peter,
Erics bar is different from anything else I came across at Thassos.

His bar has its fans but also as you can see from the Forum some unhappy customers..

He caters mostly for the English with his food ,posters and activities.
In the main you could call it a sports bar as he has english commentary T.V with emphasis on football. For the final he provided two viewing areas with english and greek commentary.

I enjoyed the Greek night there and also we had a good laugh with the Kareoke but others I observed walked away after a short period.Eric makes everyone welcome and whilst we were there he only had his wife and daughter to assist. His daughter makes fantastic omlettes by the way.

However like everything else it is a matter of taste and this can change.

Regarding beer when I first went to Thassos in 1997 I was only a bitter man. I asked Eric for a pint of bitter and he went to cook me a pizza he had at that time not heard of bitter. The only place I could get it was draught cans of boddingtons at Thomai. I aquired the taste for Amstel . Mythos was not around then. Last year there was not a lot to choose from my view point between the two. They were both good but for some reason this year Mythos has surged ahead.

The amstel in my opinion did not taste so good this year. I do not like Stella and for me Amstel has now deveoped a similar taste . It is though they put neat alcohol into the beer to increase the strength but to be honest I do not know how they make it.

Mythos this year has been fantastic an excellent vintage.There was also a new bottled beer that I came across for the first time this year that has moved into second place in my charts.

Anyway here is a snap of good old Eric for you.

Try it out .. Have a couple on your balcony. It was 10 cents cheaper.

I took a couple of bottles home ,unfortunately the last went last night.
