Hi Everyone..
just like to recommend to visitors to the forum for you to spend a few hours of your visit in the lovely village of Panagia.
Here are a few photos. If any else has more to add please do so.
Panagia is the first village you come to driving clock wise round the Island from .Thassos Town.
Streets are narrow and on some occasions mini traffic jams occur.

There is a good restaurant in the centre where you can have a lovely meal and watch the world go by..

Recommend a walk up the side street following the fast flowing stream.
The houses are lovely and some with fantastic displays of flowers.

The sound of the rushing water adds to the atmosphere..
Follow the stram to a small bridge and water feature..

thanks for your snaps..
I like the one with fast shuuter speed.. Did you find the hotel bar with view across roof tops whilst you were up there.
You can see the dust from the quarry rising in the distance.

Also the twisting road down to Golden Beach..
Its good to get the bus to panagia and then take a slow walk down the road to Golden Beach..
