The famous amphitheatre. It has taken longer to restore than it took to build the place. Did the Romans have popcorn and choc-ices in them days ?

Hi Ron,
the theatre was built in the fifth Century before Christ. Thassos was occupied by the Romans in 196 B.C. So it is indeed a Greek Theatre. But very good pictures here, keep loading up

I remember this restraurant well, me and my good lady wife were strolling along the quayside when we got herded into this place by the chap enticing people into the place. I'm glad we did because I had one of the best lobster salads of all time there. Expensive but great. mmmmmm.
